For what was now in hindsight obviously originally intended to be an erotic nudie-flick, this movie didn’t even have a lot of that. The moral of the story I seem to have gathered is that at the end of the day there is no better girlfriend than your own sister? What? If you leave your cabin in the middle of the woods for some entertainment you are sure to have your life destroyed? This movie was boring and left me feeling very uncomfortable and, most importantly, confused. Speaking of the plot, I still am struggling to figure out what the hell it was. However, his family is dead against the idea and forbids it. The protagonist of the movie is a twelve-year-old boy named Miguel who dreams to have a career in the field of music. The concept of this movie is inspired by the Mexican holiday ‘Day of the Dead’. There is no shortage of long silences and general lack of dialogue, with scenes that drag out too long with hardly any plot advancement. It's Samantha Baker's 16th birthday and her family are so wrapped up in her sisters impending wedding, they have completely forgotten Sam's big day. Coco movie won the Oscar for best animated feature at the 90 th Academy Awards in 2018.
